connecting backtrack 5 to the internet with VMware

step one...................... start backtrack 5
step 2 ......................log in the login is root and the password is toor
step 3 ...............type startx and hit enter
step 4.................................................. plug your supported card in make sure it connects to Linux now on the bottom right of the vmware
screen  press the connect adapter and make sure you are as (HOST ONLY)
step 5 ........................go to the top left corner menu and go to the internet and you will see WCID NETWORK MANAGER  ...CLICK ON IT AND IT WILL OPEN .........hit refresh and you will see networks if you followed my steps right
